Who can attend NZOQ training?
Anyone working in or entering quality-related roles can attend. Our courses suit people from a wide range of industries—including health, manufacturing, education, and other services. You do not need to be a member to register, but
NZOQ members receive discounted rates and other benefits.
Do I need experience or prior study to register?
Most courses have no formal prerequisites. For the
Diploma in Quality Assurance (DipQA), relevant work experience or related study is helpful but not required. Many of our participants come from on-the-job quality, technical, or compliance backgrounds.
What happened to the Certificate in Quality Assurance?
NZOQ previously offered the Certificate in Quality Assurance (CQA) as a standalone programme. This has now been replaced by Year 1 of the
DipQA. Participants who complete Year 1 receive recognition for foundational quality training and may continue to Year 2 to complete the full diploma.
How does the Diploma in Quality Assurance work?
The
DipQA is a two-year part-time programme. Year 1 provides core knowledge and skills and replaces the previous CQA qualification. Year 2 extends into advanced applications and leadership topics. You can enrol in Year 1 without committing to Year 2.
What formats are available for training?
We offer face-to-face public training, in-house delivery at your organisation, and online formats. The
DipQA is completed via distance learning at your own pace.
Internal Auditor training is available as
OLIA+, a flexible self-paced online option with tutor support.
Can NZOQ deliver training for my team?

Do I receive a certificate after training?
