Internal Auditor training
Internal audits provide evidence about whether a quality management system conforms to organisational and ISO 9001 requirements, is effectively implemented and maintained, and where opportunities for improvement exist.
The course is suitable for people new to internal auditing and those seeking to refresh their knowledge. Workshops, case studies, and audit scenarios provide opportunities to practise audit planning, evidence gathering, interviewing, reporting, and follow-up.
Learn practical skills for internal audits
Internal audits support management by evaluating whether a quality management system is working as intended and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Internal audits provide evidence about process performance, system effectiveness, and conformance with audit criteria. Findings can inform correction, corrective action, and continual improvement.
NZOQ has delivered Internal Auditor training since 1985. The course draws on ISO 19011 guidance for auditing management systems and relevant ISO 9001 requirements. It also introduces the relationship between quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems, with reference to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Case studies, role plays, and workshop exercises are used to practise audit planning, conduct, reporting, and follow-up.
