NZOQ signs agreement with Open Polytechnic
NZOQ is delighted to advise that it recently signed an agreement with the Open Polytechnic in relation to NZOQs highly regarded Certificate in Quality Assurance (CQA) course.
“We believe that the service the Open Polytechnic offers as a specialist provider of distance learning is a nice fit with our CQA course and together we will be able to introduce exciting distance and flexible learning options for CQA students,” explains NZOQ General Manager, Helen Baines.
Students enrolling for CQA courses commencing from February 2012 will be enrolled as students of the Open Polytechnic.
“For most students there is very little change from how the course currently operates except they are now enrolled as students of the Open Polytechnic and the course fees will be lower due to government funding. This relationship is a win-win for students,” explains Ms Baines.
NZOQ will still be very much involved in the delivery of the CQA course and oversee its content along with providing the tutors, contractors and administrative support.
All CQA students will continue to receive the same level of support and quality of service they have come to expect and a discount will still be available for NZOQ members.
The first jointly operated course will commence in February 2012 and expressions of interest are being accepted now.
