Carter Holt Harvey Packaging is one of New Zealand's leading manufacturers and suppliers of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries throughout the country. This role is based at our site in Mangere Bridge where we make a variety of cardboard cases for a huge range of customers in the horticulture, FMCG, seafood, beverage, dairy, meat and manufacturing industries.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the primary focus of this role is to administer and coordinate the quality systems function. This role has responsibility for developing and implementing best practice processes and assisting with internal audits. You will take charge of the customer complaint process; as well as interacting with people at all levels of the business to ensure that compliance procedures have been followed and all relevant paperwork has been completed.
To succeed in this role you will have a healthy respect for quality and customer satisfaction. You will also have a natural ability to coach and influence people to achieve results and constantly strive to ‘raise the bar’. You will also have a strong commitment towards continuous improvement and finding effective solutions along with the confidence to drive and implement new systems.
You will have previous quality systems experience from a regulated high volume manufacturing environment and proven ability to drive process improvement. And ideally have a Diploma or Certificate in Quality Systems Management.
