It is with pleasure that I submit this profile in support of my nomination to the NZOQ Board for 2010.
I am currently the Business Development Manager for Help4U Ltd, a health information and navigation service, and the Managing Director of New Zealand Business Improvement Ltd.
After a career in conservation fulfilling both operational and strategic quality roles, I now find myself well and truly focused on the improvement of services in the health sector. Currently I spend about half my time assisting a community health organisation in the analysis and improvement of its’ service delivery processes and the rest of the time as a partner in a developing and innovative health sector start-up business. From a quality perspective, there is nothing like a start-up to sharpen one’s focus on what’s most important (usually customers!); doing it once and doing it right because you may only get one shot at it!
I have been a NZOQ member for almost ten years and have previously served on the Canterbury Branch committee and the NZOQ Board with a particular involvement in the re-branding of NZOQ. I have qualifications in Marketing and Quality Assurance and I am a Registered Quality Manager with NZOQ.
I look forward to this opportunity to serve on the NZOQ Board in the delivery of quality products and services to NZOQ members.
